Age of Empires III

Age of Empires III offers gamers the next level of realism, with advanced battle physics and unparalleled visual detail. Age of Empires III: WarChiefs

The new expansion pack builds off of the real-time-strategy gameplay of the original, providing players with the ability to lead one of three proud Native American civilizations, including the Iroquois Confederation, to expand their empire and fight for control of the Americas. The game provides new ways to play and win, introducing new gameplay elements and content including new civilizations, a new single player campaign, Home City enhancements and additional maps and units. Additional content is also added to all existing European civilizations as well.

this is a great game, funny thing i just downloaded this last week and the expansions as well. not very good at it just yet, still a newbie to that game.

i never burnt and image file befor this game so for other newbies out there, i found that to burn the iso file, alcohol 120 was simple and easy to use. i didnt really like daemon tools, felt a bit too complicated for my small brain!

how do you install alcohol 120? it doesnt come with a keygen just some type of patch, what do i do with it?

Qban, is this the Black version from here? If I remember correctly there was a key in one of the extracted files....

2. Run the patch now..

when i do this, and I try to run the program, i get an error

not sure here cuz i haven't looked at it but did you try copying the patch over to the alcohol installation folder (c:\program files\alcohol) and running it from there..

put it in the program folder like Zack1990 said and double click on the patch and it should make it fully functional. if you have vista when you run the program run as admin on shortcut.

for those that experience lag during ship battles like i did use this small file. Unzip it and put in the startup folder as shown below
Documents\My Games\Age of Empires 3\ Startup

i just reliazed that i put it in programs files folder/ microsoft games /AOE 3/ startup

i guess either method will work, when i did it i didnt read it carefully.

after doing that the game should run properly during ship battles
