Facts 1st: Retired,looking for a hobby and pretty much know zip about FTA. Just something to do and supplment my existing tv subscription. Have done alot of reading but still not sure.
Question: I'm pretty sure I handle the set-up procedure, but before I invest in all the equipment I just can't seem to get a handle on the regularity of getting channels without going through gymnastics every few hours playing with the receiver. Pardon my ignorance but I have to start somewhere. Thanks

Hi franky11,
First off Welcome to the FSF forums,
Theres tons of info here, both old and new.
Also if your looking for public/free programing I would suggest you look into
a receiver with the brand name of I-Link , if you're looking for HD unit, 9600 might be what you want.
Standard Def, there is the I-Link Smart.
There are a total of 4 I-Link units that are eligible for the Private/Free programing 9100, 9600, Smart, Extreme

Thanks for the reply. I guess i'm trying to feel my way around to see what is available in the way of programs before I jump in with both feet. As I said before I'm as new as they come.

On every post, in the top right hand corner of the post window you will see the post#.. for example this post will be #5, and beside it there is an icon of a Triple Beam scale, silver in color and looks almost like a cross, use that icon to give people reputation points..

seo is the most important factor to optimize a website. try to get good back links. back links will improve the ranking of your site. you can get back links through bookmarking, classified, article, press release, forum etc
