Default 1000.4 vs 1000 plus

Set up side by side which one of these would give the best signal?
Since the reflector is bigger on the 1000 Plus I am assuming it would
but still want to ask.I am a little North so don't want any weak signals.
I haven't bought one yet but will be looking at Sats 110/119/129.

A good rule of thumb to follow. the bigger the dish, the better the signal.

Yes I know that.I just thought maybe because the 1000 plus has 4 bird lnb and the spacing is different (wider) then the signal to each might be reduced.
Bottom line is I want a Dishnet dish and lnb to receive sats 110/119/129 that will give the highest signal readings of any dishes they might offer?????

Can't really comment. I'm still doing things the old shool way. One dish for 82/91 one for 110/119 and one for poking around at the other sats when the mood strikes. LOL

depends which sats you want to point at. The Plus LNB is aligned for 110, 118.7, 119, and 129. The 1000.4 is aligned for 61.5, 72.7, and 77. I think this would be more of the determining factor for you. IF you are east go for 1000.4, if you are west, use the plus.
