USB External HD Encloser

Hi,
I have a HD encloser that also has a SD card reader. So, there's USB hub, then the HDD interface and an SD card reader interface. I believe this is why the 800s can not see the HD but windows can. It doesn't have the drivers for the hub. Can any one confirm this? And can I do anything about it?

do u got the hd formatted to fat32 or fat?

It's formatted to FAT32.

You can't use a hub for this feature. Unfortunately, the 800s cannot see the hub as just that, a splitter. It can only see one point of contact, therefore it sees the hub but doesn't go any further. If you want to use a hub like thing-a-ma-jig, I forget the company but there is an external enclosure that provides one output and 3 additional ports for "hubbing" purposes. Plug the output to the 800s and the pc in one of its own 'hub' ports, and voila, done.

Sorry it couldn't be simpler...maybe in new revs.

I figured it had to do with the hub. I found another enclosure I bought a while back. It's just uglier but its working.
