Does anyone have access to this module that plugs into the motherboard ? My remote control stopped working and I opened the case and took out the module to send back for warranty replacement but it got lost in my mess. CW support will only do a swap so I'm screwed. The receiver can be controlled from the keyboard but mpeg4 HD picture won't work- just green screen. I didn't look that complicated - just a chip and a few caps, resistors, and a tsop, but there is probably some program loaded onto the chip. I will gladly pay $$$ for a module, or if I can get the schematic I will build one. Can anyone help ??? Thanks in advance :)

when the remote stops working you unplug the cw for a few minutes and then plug back in and then it usually fixes the problems as far as replacing it you might not be able to maybe though, look on ebay for one you never know.

Marley he took the IR off the motherboard for some reason. Now he cannot find it. Unless CW is willing to do something, or you can find a parts machine on E-Bay or Craigs List he is out of luck.
Yes, you can re-zapp the remote by un-plugging the CW Box from the wall for a few minutes and re-start the CW Box, then the uncooperative remote should be working again. The problem here is, there is no IR on the motherboard, and that makes HD unavailable.

there are other solutions to use your cw to watch sat. buy a digiwave dvbs-2 pci card It has a remote that you can use in xp. It has 8qpsk modulations all for $149 on ebay. and for pci support is better than the cw and the fixes last alot longer. and dvr software is better than the cw I hope this helps.
