This little ditty really caught my eye. If anyone has downloaded a movie or two off the net, the only way to watch it on the big screen was to either burn it to a dvd or use a laptop and figure out some ridiculous way to connect it. I went one step further and built a dedicated HTPC fast enough to output HD files to my plasma and it works quite well, but it still is a computer hooked up to a tv - not really ideal. Well this little box does everything I wanted. It plays many different formats ( divx, .mkv, .mov, mp4, mp3, flac, real media etc,) including HD up to 1080P!! All you have to do is plug in an HDMI cable to the tv, and hook up some sort of USB storage such as a external hard drive or even a big zip drive and Viola!! It seems very simple and the fact that there are a ton of HD rips floating around really make this a cool toy. :icon_psmi
