HELP!, programed, hooked up, no visuals....

hey, I need a hand, I've programmed my platinum, hooked it to tv, and set it up. It seems to be picking up lots of channels in that it shows all the info at the bottom, but the screen remains blank...anyone know what is going on? :confused:

Which version of the program did you load? In the last few versions, you need to go to menu, system settings, and make sure that AUTOROLL and AUTO TP are both turned on. This will allow the receiver to download the latest keys and to keep up with all of the transponder changes that are happening right now. After you've done this, leave the receiver on one of the channels for a few minutes and you should be all set.

I Cant find "Auto Roll", or"Auto TP", under System Settings?

Don't feel stupid, those features didn't appear until about version 10.66 (I don't remember the exact number, but it was pretty recent). Go ahead and download the newest version, 10.69. Then, you'll find those items under system setup. Turn them on, wait a few minutes, and you'll be up and running.

Bouncing in here and you are correct GURU. The best ware that I can find with no bugs is the 1069 PGM.

However, there's newer software out that will work MUCH BETTER with the current state of affairs in the satellite WAR. Check our DOWNLOAD section for the latest release, you'll be needing it!
