Better Understanding

Well now that I have read the thread Mod and Booted, I have a better understanding of the post at satscams. I also think to many sites take themselves to seriously.

I can understand that when you first look for a site to join for the info you need you have to start somewhere. Until you find out that not all sites are alike you just take what they give you and say nothing. Some may pay for the right to get files if they do not know any better.
When I first started in the hobbies I had a buddy come over and set me up. I had a big ugly dish then. I went to a lot of sites in the old days to learn about what I wanted to do. Now a lot the sites I visited are all underground and I did not think I wanted to pay for the information I needed. To many are getting into the hobbies just for free TV. They do not want to learn about how or why it all works.
In my opinion IKS is the easy way to go for the person who does not want to spend any time playing with the hobbie. I also think it is a dangerous way to go.
So now that I have found this site no reason to spend time looking for a better site so am happy to be here.

I also like the fun of teasing the sites that think they are better than anyone else.

My opinion has always been there are folks who take this shit way too serious. It's just fuckin TV. I like fucking with them too but it was a lot more fun fucking with some major asswipes at one site and they ran all over and spread the word.... I have also said it a hundred time at least here that I have belonged and modded elswhere at many sites. This one is the only one now. It's a one of a kind and it's fun. When it stops being fun I am gone.... For what it's worth it has been fun since july of 06..... Now who is hogging the rum damnit.........

Thanks dadssguy, I feel the same. I do have to start a thread about the rum. I looks like it is consumed freely here at FSF and I need to stock up. So need to ask in more detail about Brands and mixes. I sure would not want to miss out on everyones favorite Grog.

The Captain spiced of course........ lol
In the AM I use it in the coffee instead of cream and on the frosted flakes.... The cerial mix tastes a lot better after about 5 or 6 cups of coffee..... THen lunch .. put it in the chicken noodle soup.... does the body good..... THen supper.... Oh hell yeah.... Rum and coke with rum basted hambergers on the grill..... Ya get the picture?....... For bedtime rum and tramadol..... THen lights out till breakfast..... Yeah that is the most important drunk of hte day or is it meal..... oh well there you have it

Got doctors that give me all the tramadol I want...... As for the Buffet man.... He rules...... Cheese Burger in Paradise and Livingston Saturday Night are my 2 favorites along with son of a sailor

I would enjoy having his albums..... I got songs I downloaded on limewire but I own no albums..... He is great to listen to when I am working on PC's.

I must admit I like pink floyd for that purpose. If you are into pc's why dont we have a pc or computer section on the site. I could always use a little help. I like to build and play with them. I need to learn more about raid systems as I have three puters that I try to keep running with different systems in them and still do not have a good understanding about how to keep them up and running right. I need lots of rum when I am working on the stupid things.
