Are you suppose to leave your box on 24/7 or not. If not, how long before its up and running? When the sats. are down, do you unplug the unite to the tv..and plug your cable in to tv?....or some kind of switch for the wife to switch over? Thanks....

It's really up to you if you want to leave it on or not. I leave mine on so that I don't have to wait for it to roll when I want to watch tv. As far as switching over to watch cable, it depends on your tv. I have multiple video inputs on mine. Just make sure you don't unplug the cable between you dish and the box with the box on, you could fry something.

Thanks thuud......I've been outside plumbing the pole.........having hard time with horizontal, until I realized the two separate bolts at the bottom can be use to adjust it too..... been trying to adjust the whole foot. Anyway thanks man........:new_all_c

My opinion leave it on. Not only do you catch the autorolls but I have seen in the past some files have funny quirks and those who shut down at night had to reload. I'm not saying all files do it.
