I am sorry but after hearing they want to sing the National Anthem in Spanish - enough is enough. No where did they sing it in Italian, Japanese, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German, Portuguese, Greek, French, or any other languagebecause of immigration. It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news broadcasts even gave the translation -- not even close. Sorry if this offends anyone b ut this is MY COUNTRY - IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY SPEAK UP ----please pass this along~
I am not against immigration -- just come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past -- and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Ummm, there's a small country off the coast of Zamboogahya called, Fuckincomeonin. Their people will not only provide newcomers with three hots and a cot for only a Thank You, but they routinely offer up their daughters for a good time. Ganja is legal and whiskey flows like water. There are no taxes and no Mexicans, Niggers, or White Trash. Sounds like paradise to me.

Have to agree with TrickyRick, JR. Some of us recognize your sense of humor, but many are going to take that as very racist.
I agree, the immigrants need to learn America rather than America changeing to suit every faction that comes in. But this country is made up of almost every other race out there. Condemn the foreigners that expect us to convert for them, but let's try to not condemn a race. There is a difference. As for illegal immigrants, the "illegal" says it all.
My personal recommendation, for what it might be worth, would be to deep-six this whole thread.

First, you suggest I was attemting to censor you. My statement was, "My personal recommendation, for what it might be worth, would be to deep-six this whole thread.", which was a suggestion that YOU remove the message, for the purpose of not creating the impression that the board is racist in nature. You brought me on here to help with this board, which would include trying to improve it as well as try to maintain a consistent flow of information. I believe this thread will be a detriment to the board.

Second, you indicate that you, personally, were described as racist, and go on to state that you are not. You can adjust the meanings of the words while seaperated, but the whole sentence will be construed as racist, whether you are or not. My statement was "Some of us recognize your sense of humor, but many are going to take that as very racist.", not that you are a racist. And yes, those of us that have known you for a while, recognize that "JR's just a bit crazy or honest and will speak his mind NO MATTER WHAT.". All of us here would qualify there, no one cares.

We have a great site here mostly thanks to you and JR. I sincerly appreciate your addition here but may disagree from time to time. If you have any more suggestions that concern me directly as to what we do with this site, I'd appreciate you PM'ing me directly.

Let me get in here. What is America, Canada or any other nation? It is a collection of people. It is wrong to think that things will never change. They have been changing for millions of years and will continue to changes long after we are gone. When we came and settled in North America, the Native Americans hade to change and still are. We will change, like it or not. It's not about you and me , it's about money.

If anyone has a complaint, you should take it up with those assholes we elect. It sure was not me signing for free trade. The Republican Party in the US has done a great job in eliminating US jobs to the cheapest dictator they can find. Canada is not far behind that mentality. The only god thing is we have a minority right now. I'm Canadian by the way, but shit I know almost as much as the Americans do about the US. You kicked out the Democrats when they gave the US the best economy in about 50 fucking years. I was amazed at this. Sure Gore screwed up in the debate, 50 years people. If the democrats had screwed up, vote them out.

When people start to get attacked by the government we elect, it's easy to go blame the poor guy we bring in who is a doctor and now he cleans dishes. I agree that we treat foreign people better then they would treat us if we were in their country. I am an immigrant, but being European it was easy to adapt.

FYI George W didn't get in on the popular vote. He was put into office by the Electoral College, A system that is outdated and should be abolished. Then the Democrats didn't have a halfway decent cantidate the second time he ran. The system sucks but by the time he gets done we might not have a system "by the people, for the people." Since he has been in office we have lost many of our rights and he has turned the country into a modern USSR, searching, jailing, Tapping phones and spying on individuals without reason. Next will be the abolishment of the constitution, Which he has thumbed his nose at many times and got away with it....

I have nothing against Asians, I hope it did not come out that way. I just think that everyone should be treated equaly with no special treatment. Giving special treatment to one group only upsets another.
