electronic counter measure
no it doesn't fix itself, autoroll rolls the keys, so it rolls keys itself, for an ecm most case's u need to load a new file

nope
up on both providers
the small cw's are easy man, and pretty much all the same
what type of dish and lnb do you own? is it a b3v or dn dish with 1 lnb ?
your cw came with the factory file loaded on it (out of the box had the factory on it) so all you would to have to do is load the latest file, then if u have an average dn or b3v dish (most of them being 18inch dish with a legacy lnb on them)
then all you would have to do is go to menu on remote >
easy tunning, set up the top row, set the sat, what sat are you trying for b3v or dn? you had tv at 1 time so you must know what sat your aimed at, anyhow like i said set the sat
then the diseqc/switch port (this is to hook up more than 1 dish/lnb to the cw) none if you dont have a switch, now set the lnb freq 11250, make sure row 2,3,4 are all off
then hit fast scan, you'll end up on a scrambled channel, hit on remote f1sleep 0 0 0, you'll see patch enabled on tv screen, now go make sure you got autoroll on, menu>system settings, autoroll at the bottom (dish&b3v on) exit out, give it a few mins to kick in if it dont flick threw a few channels then give it a few more mins and it should kick in
