PC v.s. Mac

PC or Mac????
What's your preference??

I have a 3gig P4 running XPpro and a Mac PowerPC 466 running OSX 10. I also have a 1.3 gig Athlon running SuSe Linux 10.1. All have 1gig memory, but the big difference is I am not impressed with the available variety of software for the Mac or Linux. Each System has its good points but I still use the XP system much more. The stablest is the Mac then the Linux and last the XP.

I only have my AMD 64 bit Athlon laptop right now, stability is a huge issue.
I have had the opportunity to try out a mac and the thing is amazingly fast. My next purchase will definatley be a mac.

I use XP and wish I did not have to.

I have tried Linux and loved it. I would have kept it but it's a learning curve and I have no time right now. If I find books on how to use it I would change in a hart beat.

Love to play unreal tournament so run xp pro, next puter will be a 4800+ or so with two video cards..ur and running xp pro. I have too many programs to change and I cant afford to not have use of a single one of them. I hate contributing to the wealth of microsoft...so I dont :) thats way of looking at it.. and of..I have two computers on xp pro (amd 1200 and a 2500 barton) then I have a laptop with a sempron running xp home and a p4 2.8 ghz running xp home factory install. Any thoughts on gaming to go with pentium or athlon? lol..new can of worms..new thread would be better maybe. :new_all_c

What? No place for TRS-80? :)
Use PC's. Microsloth, and playing with Linux. Tried Apple waaay back in the 80's, but haven't had the opportunity since then.

I think I remember it was a radio shack puter right? I had a commadore 64 but I think gates stole the "a" :icon_psmi prompt out of it cas I couldnt figure it out and sent it back, lol
