hey soory to sound like an idiot but.... this mini is new to me and so is fta ! to reboot do i just unplug for awhile or... and with the new patch it didn't look like I was downloading the whole file on my usb??? 256 kb where the file says its like 95.6 kb or close to that. :confused:

I'm no expert like most users on this site, but I can tell you what I did to get my Mini to work. I shut the switch off on the back of the Mini, then I loaded the Min. 3.31 file as a software upgrade and then I loaded the latest fix. Try it and hopfully it works. Like I said, it worked for me.

yas gotta load both the latest file and latest patch
then give it a few mins and it should roll

first of all, do a hard reboot on your mini ( back pannel switch for a couple of seconds ) then, load the latest .UNO file as botloader upgrade. you will have to follow the instructions on the screen. once it is installed, you will have to do a channel search and then, when it is all done, return to the usb menu and load the latest .EXX file. system will reboot by itself and you should see tv at this moment. if not, use your remote to turn off the mini once and it should be up.

you shouldnt have to load the latest .UNO file as bootloader upgrade each time you load the latest .EXX patch but sometimes, i don t know why, you have to.

hope it will help you but i have 3 minis and they re all working great so code part is allright...for the moment!

I have done everything that i was supposed to do but when i try to download the latest ex file its not even letting me download it.. can someone tell me what is wrong with it.

Follow these steps all will be ok, til next ecm.


1.You should do a boatloader with (Effective bin file 3.25)

2.Then do a software only upgrade with file 3.31

3.Then install latest patch

You will have to do a channel search any time you do the boatloader upgrade
very very seldom will you do this!

If you are having probs with mini, follow these steps, you will be fine
next time ecm comes down you will only install patch.

I am down alot of channels, mainly 8 10 not coming in, I had to readjust my dish, it took a while, but I had to tilt it up a degree or two and my signal jumped from 80's to 95 & 95. Good luck, hopefully we get a new file soon.kk :new_all_c
